Nathan Grey, DMD Dentist
Dr. Nathan Gray grew up in Clanton, AL and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science at Auburn University. He was a Briarwood Fellow here in Birmingham and attended dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He is trained through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine to provide dental sleep appliance therapy as an alternative to CPAP machines, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, and the Birmingham District Dental Society. Dr. Gray is passionate about building relationships through dentistry, serving on dental mission trips, educating patients, and helping each patient grow more confident in their smile. Dr. Gray and his wife Mechay have one son and two daughters, and he enjoys spending time with them, gardening, flyfishing, and serving in the music and children's ministry at his church.
His family has been in Birmingham since the late 1800s, and were involved in pioneering coal mining industry here. Their gas station, country store, BBQ joint, and later grocery store were all staples of the early days of Cahaba Heights. His grandparents and great grandparents lived right here in the Greystone, Valleydale, and Cahaba Heights area. He has many fond childhood memories visiting his great grandparent's farm only a half mile from Gooch Dental!
