Dr. Duncan has been a practicing dentist since 2017 and brings a compassionate and gentle spirit to his work. He deeply cares that each patient has a comfortable experience and treats everyone as if they are family. Dr. Duncan is committed to a lifetime of learning and has studied in several extensive continuing education courses covering topics from implant planning and placement to oral conscious sedation.

Dr. Wood earned her degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina and has been a practicing dentist since 2017. She loves being able to combine her passion for science and artistic creativity in her work as a dentist. Working at Gooch Family Dental allows Dr. Wood to provide superior, technology-focused treatment all within a comfortable, relaxing office environment.

Dr. Burton Gooch has been a practicing dentist for over 15 years and is devoted to the wellbeing of his patients. He has a genuine passion for learning more about all aspects of dentistry and participates in monthly continuing education courses. Dr. Gooch is affiliated with a number of societies committed to upholding the highest professional standards.

Dr. Lanford is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She attended the University of Kentucky where she was a member of the Swim and Dive Team and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration while also pursuing her dental studies. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at UAB School of Dentistry, Dr. Lanford served as Ethics Council member all four years. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Dental Lifeline Network Brian D. Stone Memorial Award in recognition for her service in helping people with special needs. She then expanded her skills in a general practice residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital.
