Dr. Daniel Andrews graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2017. He was chosen as the annual recipient of the “Horace Wells Award” which is given to the graduating student who demonstrated outstanding achievement in the field of dental anesthesiology. Following graduation, he was accepted into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at The Foundry Dental Center in Bessemer, AL. During this 1 year program, he expanded and improved upon his general dentistry skills with a special focus on surgery, including dental implants and sedation dentistry. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Andrews joined Gooch Family Dental in July of 2018.
Dr. Andrews attended Bethel University in McKenzie, TN for his undergraduate studies and also played collegiate golf for the Bethel Wildcats. He met his wife Jessica there as she also was a collegiate athlete, playing Volleyball for the Bethel Wildcats. Fun fact- Dr. Andrews has been married twice but never divorced! (He was married in the U.S. and Brazil) because Jessica is from Brazil! He enjoys studying the Portuguese language and one day hopes to achieve fluency. He also enjoys working out, sports, karaoke, and online gaming.
Dr. Andrews looks forward to meeting you and taking great care of you and your dental needs!
